Is Neuropathy in Feet Treatable?

Peripheral Neuropathy patientUp until now, for many people who suffer from neuropathy in their feet, there hasn’t been a lot of hope for finding successful treatment for the pain and symptoms they live with daily.

I was reading an article today that said, “Your doctor can prescribe pain killers for your neuropathy.” That’s all very nice, but no one wants to walk around every day with that “drugged up” feeling that most people experience when they are taking pain medication.

In addition, taking pain killers isn’t a treatment – it’s a mask. Granted it helps get you through, but it doesn’t treat the problem.

What is neuropathy?

Most of us realize that neuropathy is damage to the nerves. When your feet are affected by neuropathy it can cause:

  • Pain
  • Tingling
  • Burning
  • Numbness
  • Pins and Needles
  • Loss of Balance

It’s amazing the discomfort these symptoms bring to the neuropathy sufferer. So much so that many times not only is their lifestyle changed, but they can’t sleep at night – life is miserable.

There areĀ  just under 300 clinics in the United States using a relatively new Low Level Laser Therapy to treat, not mask, neuropathy pain. The treatment is drug-free, painless and non-invasive, and people are experiencing wonderful success and pain relief as their nerves are actually being rehabilitated.

The Bellevue Pain Institute is very pleased to offer Low Level Laser Therapy!

Please contact us for your first treatment by filling out the form at the bottom of the page.
